Community Corner -
Celebrating 10 Years
This edition marks ten years of Patterson Road Tatts, News & Post Customer Newsletters and Community Corner.
In the first edition of our customer newsletter in April 2006 Community Corner featured a traffic study that was getting underway for Patterson Road. Many of our customers had input to the study with the outcome being the road safety measures we now see in place including the pedestrian crossing in Patterson Road.
Some of the most popular articles in Community Corner have been about local clubs and groups including visits from the children of the Bentleigh West Kindergarten. Local golf, bowls, cricket and tennis clubs have all played an important part in Community Corner over the ten years.
Prize winners for numerous in-store competitions have been announced in Community Corner.
Our customers have generously supported vital community appeals that have featured in Community Corner including the Cancer Council Daffodil Day, The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal and The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
Community Corner has also welcomed many new businesses to the Patterson Road shopping centre including IGA Express, the re-opening of the BP (now Liberty) Petrol Station, HAIRCO & Blow Out hairdressers and more recently Hagens Organic Butcher and Pizza on Patterson.
Community Corner can also be found on our website,
www.pattersonroad.com.au, which includes some historical photos of the area. You can also take a look back at past newsletters on our website with e-news versions dating back for most of the 10 years.
If you have a community event or local business you
would like to promote here in "Community
Corner" please contact
